Vic studied at the Colchester school of Art    in the 1970’s, and for many years     focussed on  painting in watercolours. In   the mid 1980’s he turned his attention to oils and this has  been his favoured medium ever since, although he does accept occasional watercolour commissions.

Vic has a love for impressionism and is currently painting a series of scenes from Cornwall in that style. These can be viewed in Gallery3.

Artists that he admires include Ann Templeton, Walt Gonske, Melanie Cambridge, and Michael Chesley Johnson. There are many others.
